Deeptech Startup Jaipur Robotics Raises €4.3 Mn, Eyes India Expansion

Swiss deeptech startup Jaipur Robotics has secured €4.3 Mn in seed funding led by EquityPitcher Ventures and High-Tech Gründerfonds, bringing its total funding to just under $6 Mn. The company, founded in 2024 by Ermes Zamboni and Nikhil Prakash, specializes in AI-powered computer vision systems for waste-to-energy (WtE) plants.

Jaipur Robotics' technology uses industrial cameras and sensors to detect hazardous or oversized objects in waste piles, preventing damage to equipment and furnaces. The startup plans to use the funding to accelerate product development, expand its sales presence internationally, and grow its team. Jaipur Robotics will also develop new features and integrations for waste-to-energy plants, with a focus on crane automation.

The company's systems currently analyze over 5 Mn tonnes of waste annually across more than 35 facilities in Europe, with a 99% accuracy rate in detecting hazardous material. While Jaipur Robotics is primarily focused on Europe, the company is also looking to expand into India, where the WtE market was valued at $1.56 Bn in 2025 and is projected to grow to $1.97 Bn by 2034.
