Chief supports 800 children with Laptops, Cash and Learning Materials

Nana Osei Kofi, the Chief of Sabin Akrofrom in the Atwima Kwanwoma District of the Ashanti Region, has generously donated learning materials, laptops, food and cash to approximately 800 children, including those from less privileged and needy backgrounds, to celebrate his 13th year of being enstooled. Among the beneficiaries, 18 were honored with laptops, while the rest received financial assistance to cover their school fees.

At a presentation ceremony, Nana Osei Kofi emphasized his dedication to enhancing the quality of education and ensuring that children of school-going age excel, become responsible adults, and contribute to the progress of Sabin Akrofrom and the surrounding areas.

He assured that this initiative will not be a fleeting effort and pledged to prioritize education within his jurisdiction. Nana Osei Kofi called upon stakeholders both locally and in the diaspora to support the human capital development of the town through education and job creation, aiming to equip the youth with necessary skills upon graduation.

Moreover, he advised the parents of the beneficiaries to show keen interest in their children's education, which would help them achieve their future aspirations and curb social vices in the country.

Mrs. Ruth Afriyie Anane, whose child benefited from the Chief's generosity, expressed her deep gratitude to the Chief and his elders for their kind gesture. She prayed for God's blessings, wisdom, and strength for the Chief to continue sustaining the initiative and urged other chiefs and opinion leaders to follow Nana Osei Kofi's exemplary actions.
