Big scene for JAYASRI at One Love Festival

Last month, reggae superstars Rohitha and Rohan along with their band JAYASRI made waves at Austria's biggest reggae event, the One Love Festival. The two-day celebration took place in the picturesque Wiesen, Burgenland province, attracting thousands of music lovers and showcasing a lineup of reggae legends. Alongside JAYASRI, the festival featured the likes of Alpha Blondy, The Wailers, Dawn Penn, Alborosie, Queen Omega, The Congos, Culture, and many more.

The event was nothing short of magical as JAYASRI delivered an electrifying performance, blending various reggae styles, from classic to modern, to captivate their audience.

Speaking about the experience, Rohitha shared that the band's unique mix of sounds, including Asian Dub, Ska, Rocksteady, Dancehall, Afro Beat, and Funky, resonated with the crowd. As the European summer comes to an end, Rohitha and Rohan are preparing to return to familiar grounds in Colombo, Sri Lanka, where they will continue to showcase their music. In addition to their local gigs, the twins have a series of concerts lined up in Japan, Australia, New Zealand, the Middle East, and beyond. Rohitha emphasized the importance of being back in Colombo for the upcoming season, as it is a crucial stepping stone for them, growing their Sri Lankan reggae sound and soul in the global stage.
