Bayi 4 bulan meninggal di taska

A four-month-old female infant died after being found unconscious at a taska (daycare center) in Bandar Al Muktafi Billah Shah, near Dungun, Terengganu. Police Chief Nik Ab Halim Nik Mat received a report about the incident at 3:41 PM, stating they had been informed around 8 AM that the infant was healthy and well. Approximately 10 AM, the taska reported that the victim was unconscious after sleeping and being fed milk.

She was then taken to Durian Mas Health Clinic before being referred to Dungun Hospital, where she was declared dead around 12:45 PM. Initial examinations at the medical facility did not reveal any obvious physical injuries. However, the cause of death is still under investigation and a forensic autopsy will be conducted. The two caretakers present during the incident have been identified and their statements will assist the investigation.

The police will also collect statements from the victim's parents and witnesses, as well as gather reports and perspectives from medical staff. Police are opening an inquiry under Section 31(1)(a) of the Children's Act 2001 to determine if any negligence or neglect occurred while the victim was under taska care.
