Zahid beri bayangan sambung ‘gelombang biru’ di Melaka

In his latest statement, Barisan Nasional (BN) leader Zahid Hamidi envisioned a continuation of the "blue wave" collaboration with Perikatan Nasional (PN), referred to by him as the "blue wave," in the upcoming PRN Melaka. As the president of Umno, Zahid emphasized his awareness of the "blue wave" sentiment among the youth and the general electorate in the state.

He reminded the audience during the closing of the Youth Melaka X Jubilee Carnival at the Multi-purpose Trade and Convention Centre (MITC) in Ayer Keroh that the "blue wave" experienced in Johor, Semenanjung, would also occur in Melaka. The statement came when he was reportedly quoted by Berita Harian in Ayer Keroh, saying similar things as he wrapped up the Karnival Anak Muda Melaka X Jom Heboh.

On August 31, Zahid had stated that any collaboration between BN and a future PRN Melaka would only be decided after the DUN was dissolved. Today, while still maintaining a tense relationship with Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, Zahid claimed their relationship remained good. He discussed Bloomberg's report citing sources that claimed the relationship between him and Pakatan Harapan (PH) president is becoming increasingly tense, which forced the recent Council of Ministers meeting to be concluded earlier.
