UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and five states condemn Israeli Gaza displacement remarks

The Foreign Ministers of multiple nations, including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Jordan, Indonesia, Pakistan, Türkiye, and Egypt, have strongly condemned Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir and Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz for their remarks about the displacement of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip. These statements, which suggest plans and mechanisms for forcibly removing Palestinians from their land, directly violate international law and put the Palestinian people's rights at risk.

The ministers reaffirm their firm opposition to any attempts or plans to displace Palestinians, both within and outside the Occupied Palestinian Territory, and warn of the severe consequences of turning such calls into policy or action. They stress that the Gaza Strip is part of the Occupied Palestinian Territory and emphasize the importance of preserving the unity of the Palestinian territory in Gaza and the West Bank, including East Jerusalem.

The ministers call for the international community to uphold its responsibilities and prevent any attempts to alter the demographic or geographic reality in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, ensuring respect for international law.
