Tiada SJKT akan ditutup, tegas Fadhlina

Menteri Pendidikan Fadhlina Sidek has firmly stated that no Tamil National Primary Schools (SJKT) will be closed, reaffirming the government's commitment to the development and operation of all schools. The minister emphasized that instead of closing any schools, the government will focus on enhancing and managing all educational institutions, alongside strengthening teacher and student programs.

"We give the assurance as a Madani government that no SJKT will be closed," she stated after participating in the Agreement Signing and Groundbreaking Ceremony for the Sungai Bakap SJKT. Fadhlina reiterated this assurance, as doubts still exist among parts of the school community. The minister highlighted the construction of Sungai Bakap SJKT as a significant development following a lengthy process.

According to her, the construction of the SJKT Sungai Bakap will be carried out by the National Education Foundation and will take 56 weeks. The minister also assured that the implementation will be monitored by the State Education Department to ensure it adheres to the plan, clarifying that the SJKT Sungai Bakap builders involve a budget of RM12.6 million.
