Tiada SJKT akan ditutup, tegas Fadhlina

Menteri Pendidikan Fadhlina Sidek has emphasized that there will be no closure of National Tamil Primary Schools (SJKT), stating that the government remains committed to developing and operating all schools. The ministry guarantees that no SJKT will be shut down, and instead, will focus on strengthening programs related to teachers and students.

This assurance was made after attending the signing ceremony and groundbreaking ceremony for the SJKT Sungai Bakap. The minister reiterates this point as some within the school community still have doubts about closure. Fadhlina also highlights the construction of SJKT Sungai Bakap as a significant development following a lengthy process.

The development will be undertaken by the National Fund for Education Development and is estimated to take 56 weeks. The construction will be monitored by the State Education Department to ensure it proceeds as planned, she clarified while announcing that the sponsors of SJKT Sungai Bakap have invested RM12.6 million in the project.
