The No. 5 Longhorns, led by wide receiver Cam Coleman and linebacker Rasheem Biles, showcased their offensive and defensive firepower. Coleman caught two touchdowns, including one on the Longhorns' first play, while Raleek Brown ran for two touchdowns.

Biles forced a fumble and had an interception, setting up a Texas touchdown. The transfer-heavy roster, which included 22 new players, was expected to boost the team's performance.
