“Music is so stressful” – Headless YouTuber on why he won’t return

Headless YouTuber, formerly known as Kula, has announced he will not return to music, citing the stress involved and his introverted nature. In an interview on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz show, he explained that while he initially pursued a career in music to fund his content creation, the reality of the music industry proved too taxing.

Music requires studio sessions, paying dancers, radio and TV appearances, video shoots, and performances, all of which he finds overwhelming. Furthermore, as an introvert, he struggles with the late-night backstage waits. Consequently, he opted to focus on content creation during the day and spend time with his family instead. He also made a deliberate choice to avoid working on weekends, stating that he continues to create content only on weekdays, regardless of the story's significance.

Over the past five years, Headless YouTuber has been producing engaging content that resonates with the evolving tastes and interests of the social media audience. Before his YouTube journey, he released several songs, including "Amen," "Interview," "One," and "Meye Yie," and was honored as the winner of the Ghana Music Awards' 'Unsung' project in 2019.
