Real Estate Registry launches title registration for over 46,000 properties in Riyadh and Qassim

The Saudi Real Estate Registry has commenced title registration for 46,538 properties located in Riyadh and Qassim regions, with a deadline set for December 10, 2026. This new phase aims to document ownership and improve transparency within the real estate sector. Notable neighborhoods in Riyadh participating in the registration include Al-Madina Al-Jadida, Rumaythan in Al-Hariq, Munifah plan in Al-Bajadiyah, Al-Hazm in Al-Hilwah, and several areas in Al-Ruwaydah, Riyadh city, Al-Sar, Badai Al-Udhayan, and Hawtat Bani Tamim.

In Qassim, the registry will register properties in King Abdullah, Al-Quds, Al-Rabwa, Al-Nahda neighborhoods in Dakhna, parts of Al-Nahda and Al-Ufuq in Al-Ammar, Uqlat Al-Suqur and Al-Batin, Daria, and Al-Mithnab.

Property owners in these designated neighborhoods are urged to register their titles through the Real Estate Registry platform or mobile application by the specified deadline. They can check if their property is included by visiting the online platform (https://rer.sa/). The selection of neighborhoods is based on specific criteria, and the Real Estate Registry plans to extend the title registration process to more regions and governorates in the future.

Registering within the given timeframe is essential to take advantage of the services and avoid penalties and fines as outlined in the Real Estate Title Registration Law. The registry encourages owners to reach out to the customer service center at 199002 for any inquiries regarding the registration process. By registering, each property will be assigned a unique property number and a title deed, which includes precise geographic location, owner details, property descriptions, and a record of all real estate transactions.
