Palestinians in Gaza bury remains of 100 people recovered from rubble

In Doha, Qatar, the Foreign Ministers of eight Arab and Islamic nations have strongly condemned statements from Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir and Defense Minister Israel Katz. These ministers, representing Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, Pakistan, Egypt, and Turkey, vehemently rejected the proposed plans and mechanisms aimed at forcibly displacing Palestinians from the Gaza Strip.

They emphasized that such actions violate international law, including humanitarian law, and pose a direct threat to the Palestinian people's rights. The ministers reiterated their firm stance against any attempts to displace Palestinians, both within and outside the Occupied Palestinian Territory, and warned of the severe consequences of turning such calls into policy or action.

They stressed that the Gaza Strip is an integral part of the Occupied Palestinian Territory and called for preserving the unity of this territory, along with the West Bank and East Jerusalem. The ministers affirmed their support for the two-State solution, with an independent Palestinian State in line with international resolutions, and urged the international community, especially the United Nations Security Council, to confront any attempts to alter the demographic or geographic reality in the Occupied Palestinian Territory.
