Odegaard sinks Chelsea in London derby thriller

Arsenal secured a thrilling 2-1 victory over Chelsea in a London derby on Sunday, maintaining their flawless start to the 2026/27 Premier League season. Xabi Alonso's side suffered their first defeat as the Chelsea manager, despite a dominant early performance from the visitors, who scored through Morgan Rogers inside the opening two minutes. The high-intensity match saw both teams create numerous goal-scoring opportunities.

Arsenal's lead was briefly extended in the 12th minute when Riccardo Calafiori tapped in from a Declan Rice free-kick, only for it to be ruled offside due to Ezri Konsa, who made his first start for Arsenal.
