Noskova battles past Kostyuk to reach US Open quarters

Luke Littler defeated defending champion Luke Humphries to win the Czech Open title in Prague. The 19-year-old Littler, who was playing in his first European Tour event since the Belgium Open in March, triumphed over Krzysztof Ratajski, Danny Noppert, and Michael van Gerwen in the tournament. He trailed 4-3 against Humphries in the final but secured a four-leg winning streak, taking the match 7-4.

Humphries had previously beaten Andrew Gilding, William O'Connor, and Gerwyn Price to get to the final. Littler's victory secures his place at the European Championship in Dortmund in October. The young star expressed his joy at winning the tournament, stating, "These long days are worth it, especially lifting the trophy." Littler also hinted at his ambition to complete the calendar sweep of ranking events in 2026, aiming to win the Czech Open for the first time in his career.

Humphries, on the other hand, was determined to avenge his loss and secure the Czech Open title for the fourth time, adding, "I never give up, especially in finals."
