A man in his 50s is suspected of involvement in a fatal drug shooting incident in Seremban, according to the Negeri Sembilan State Police Chief, Alzafny Ahmad. The police confirmed the incident occurred at 1:50 PM on Tuesday at Garden Homes. Further details will be released by the Bureau of Narcotics Crime Investigation, Bukit Aman, tomorrow.

The 50-year-old suspect is believed to have eight previous drug and crime convictions, including a warrant for contempt of court. Neighbors, known as Ali, 72, said he was at home after completing prayers when informed about the incident. He claimed he did not hear the gunfire as he was indoors. Subsequently, police cars swarmed the area, and the scene was cordoned off with yellow tape, restricting vehicle access.

This marks the first such incident in this residential area, and the resident expressed concerns about the safety of the community in case of similar occurrences elsewhere.

Notably, a few weeks ago, the residents had noticed several cars in the vicinity during the night, which raised suspicions and concern among the local population.
