India made gradual investments has left them far ahead of Pakistan: Misbah-ul-Haq

Former Pakistan captain Misbah-ul-Haq has highlighted the reasons behind India's cricketing success over Pakistan. He believes that Pakistan's frequent changes in personnel, including players, captains, and coaches, have contributed to their lagging performance. In contrast, India has maintained stability by rarely dismissing their senior players, captains, and coaches since the beginning of the new millennium.

Misbah, who was the captain when India topped the ICC Test rankings, emphasized that India's gradual investments in their system post-1990s have been crucial. He pointed out that India's players lack sufficient red-ball cricket exposure as they play too much white-ball cricket, making them more vulnerable under pressure. Misbah resigned from the Pakistan selection committee due to the PCB's turmoil following their defeats in two Tests in England.

He also criticized the treatment of local and foreign coaches in Pakistan cricket, noting that local coaches face more scrutiny and criticism than foreign ones.
