India, China Corps Commanders meet in Arunachal Pradesh

New Delhi, India and the Chinese People's Liberation Army engaged in military talks on Sunday to address tensions along the 1,126-km Line of Actual Control in Arunachal Pradesh. This marks the first such Corps Commander-level dialogue in the eastern sector at the Vacha-Damai border point. India's representation was led by Lieutenant General Girish Kalia, Commander of the Indian Army's 3 Corps, responsible for operational areas along the LAC.

Both sides aimed to resolve issues through direct military channels, following a recent meeting in Beijing where they agreed on an eight-point plan to enhance border management.
