For a devoted "Alien" fan, the return of director Ridley Scott has initiated serious concerns regarding the franchise's future. The "Alien" series has recently experienced a resurgence with releases such as "Alien: Romulus" and upcoming projects like "Alien: Earth" season 2 and a potential "Alien: Isolation 2". As a true fan of the Xenomorph, who considers "Alien" their favorite movie, the news of Scott's involvement has caused a surge of apprehension.

Despite his significant contributions to the franchise, including directing "Alien", "Prometheus", and "Alien: Covenant", Scott's involvement has raised doubts among fans. The 2017 release "Alien: Covenant" was met with significant criticism, receiving a disappointing 55% score on Rotten Tomatoes and underwhelming box office performance.
