In a sensational auction at the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX) 2026, a rare white falcon known as an Ultra White Pure Gyr Garmousha chicken fetched a staggering 1.5 million UAE Dirhams, or roughly Rs 3.85 crore. The ultra rare bird, adorned with its pristine white feathers and distinctive features, was presented by Mark Moglich Falcon Farm, a farm based in the United States.

Weighing about 1 kg and measuring approximately 16.5 inches in length and width, the falcon captured the attention of falconry enthusiasts, breeders and collectors alike. The record-breaking deal at the fifth round of falcon auctions solidified the high value placed on these rare birds within the region's falconry culture. The attention wasn't limited to the auction itself.

A young falcon enthusiast, Shaikha Al Mansoori, also drew significant interest. She was accompanied by her uncle, who shared his passion for birds and falconry with the young girl. In a social media video, Shaikha passionately discussed her experience at the exhibition, and she candidly revealed that her uncle was the one who sparked her interest in falcons.
