General : Komuniti MADANI Must Strengthen Role As Bridge Between Government And People - Wan Azizah

Bandar Tun Razak member of Parliament Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail emphasized that the Komuniti Madani initiative should serve as a stronger bridge between the government and the people. She stressed its importance in ensuring government policies reach their intended targets and effectively channel public feedback to relevant agencies for further action.

At the Komuniti Madani appointment certificate ceremony in Bandar Tun Razak, Dr Wan Azizah highlighted that community members must be proactive in addressing public concerns while maintaining respect. She also tasked Komuniti Madani to act as a frontline defense against the spread of false information, particularly on social media, by adhering to the principle "Check before sharing".

Dr Wan Azizah underlined that the community's strength lies in its relationships and mutual support, urging appointees to uphold trust and integrity while proactively engaging with the public. The Komuniti Madani network, a rebranding of Komuniti Keluarga Malaysia groups, now consists of 72 groups in the Federal Territories of Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya, with its success relying on dedicated volunteers.
