The manager expressed his confidence in the squad's depth during the post-match press conference, comparing Arsenal's current form to their own.

He noted that both teams have faced additional matches, with Arsenal making five changes in each game. Both City and Arsenal field a strong roster, including World Cup winners, England players, and additional talent. Maresca believes that possessing multiple options is crucial for competing at the top level, and his squad certainly fits the bill.

The current Premier League standings have City leading with victories over Bournemouth, Crystal Palace, and Coventry City. However, Arsenal could potentially join them at nine points if they defeat Chelsea on Sunday. Similarly, Chelsea could climb to nine points if they secure a win against Arsenal.
