EPL: Erling Haaland makes fresh Arsenal, Man City title claim

Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has suggested that his team is currently in a "rebuilding phase" despite being expected to vie for the Premier League title alongside Arsenal in the upcoming season. Speaking post-Man City's 1-0 victory over Coventry City in the Premier League on Saturday, Haaland appeared to indicate that Arsenal, who have played together for a considerable amount of time, are in a strong position in the title race.

Haaland's remarks come amid a summer of significant upheaval at Manchester City, which saw the departure of manager Pep Guardiola, along with key players Rodri, Bernardo Silva, and John Stones. However, the English champions have made a promising start under their new manager, Enzo Maresca, securing all three Premier League matches so far this season.

When asked about Arsenal and Manchester City's prospects for winning the Premier League title, Haaland commented to Viaplay, "Arsenal have played together for a long time and have built this up over a longer period, a bit like City had when I first joined." He added, "We are still in a kind of rebuilding phase, but the transfer window has been fantastic, I have to say."
