Washington football prioritizing four-star Texas WR in 2028 class

The Washington Huskies are reportedly prioritizing four-star Texas wide receiver Carter St. Junious in the 2028 recruiting class. St. Junious, a 6-foot-3, 185-pound prospect from Manvel High School, has been ranked as the nation's No. 145 overall and No. 22 wide receiver by the 247Sports Composite. He has attracted 40 offers, including from top programs like LSU, Nebraska, Oregon, Texas, and Texas Tech.

St. Junious expressed his excitement about joining the Huskies, praising Coach Jedd Fisch's vision for the program and their offensive system that provides receivers numerous opportunities to shine. The wide receiver made an impressive sophomore season debut, recording 40 catches for 585 yards and 5 touchdowns. He continued his strong performance in his junior year, catching 7 passes for 140 yards and scoring 2 touchdowns in his season opener where he demonstrated his speed, ability to make difficult catches, and route-running skills.

With four freshman players and four more committed wide receivers in the 2026 class, the Huskies can afford to be more selective in the 2028 class, with St. Junious appearing to be their top target.
