Uba Sani Unveils Peugeot 5008, Canvasses For Govt’s Patronage

Governor Uba Sani announced a presentation to the National Economic Council (NEC) to encourage ministries, departments, and agencies to patronize vehicles produced by Dangote Peugeot Automobile Nigeria (D-PAN) Limited. Upon unveiling the Peugeot 5008 2026 model at the factory on Friday, the governor praised Alhaji Aliko Dangote for his patriotic support of Nigeria through investments. D-PAN has contributed to job creation in Kaduna State, addressed skill gaps, and bolstered the local economy.

Sani vowed to present a compelling case to the National Economic Council, urging both federal and state governments to support D-PAN's products for the companies' sustained success. He added that Kaduna State plans to order several vehicles to set an example for others to follow by patronizing this vital company. The governor pledged to provide D-PAN with the necessary support, as the state has a shareholding in the company, and intends to further strengthen their partnership.

He called on the company to consider hiring graduates from the Institute of Vocational and Skills Development, where they recently completed intensive training in collaboration with the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE).

Sani commended D-PAN for their Corporate Social Responsibility efforts by supporting nearby communities. He urged the management to continue demonstrating goodwill towards the host community, emphasizing that harmony between the company and residents will only be maintained if adequate support is given. The governor observed that the coexistence between the community and D-PAN has been peaceful.
