Students in SARs set for live lecture from space

Students and educators in Hong Kong and Macau are set to witness live scientific experiments conducted by the three Shenzhou-23 astronauts currently onboard the Tiangong Space Station. This includes a special session dedicated to Hong Kong's first astronaut, Lai Ka-ying. The event, dubbed the "Tiangong Class Hong Kong and Macao Designated Session," will serve as an invaluable aerospace science education opportunity for students.

Organized jointly by the HKSAR and Macao SAR governments, as well as the China Manned Space Agency, the session encompasses an expert lecture, an in-orbit demonstration, and a Q&A with students. The Education Bureau will facilitate the live broadcast on school campuses on the designated day. This innovative program aims to bridge the gap between Earth and space, fostering a deeper understanding of China's manned space exploration achievements among the youth of Hong Kong and Macau.

The live broadcast will be accessible online via multiple government websites, news.gov.hk's Facebook page, and the "A Shared Cosmic Vision for National Rejuvenation" thematic website. Local broadcasters, Radio Television Hong Kong, and other television stations will also provide live coverage.
