Six die in Adamawa car crash

On Friday, a devastating car crash along the Yola-Girei Road claimed the lives of six individuals in Adamawa State, Nigeria. The Adamawa State Police Command confirmed the tragic incident, stating that the victims were rushed to a hospital but were later declared deceased. The command's spokesman, Suleiman Nguroje, revealed that police officers from Girei Divisional Headquarters, Federal Housing, and the Central Motor Traffic Division swiftly responded to the scene.

Their primary tasks were to evacuate the victims and restore traffic flow. Commissioner of Police Kabir Hassan expressed condolences to the deceased's families and implored motorists to exercise caution, adhere to traffic regulations, and avoid excessive speed to prevent further tragedies. This was the fourth accident on the Yola-Girei Road, with over 10 lives lost in just one month.
