SASEYC announces October date for aviation summit

The Southeast Aviation Summit and Eastwing Youth Competition, SASEYC 2026, has set October 3, 2026, as the revised date for the event. This announcement was made during a meeting with the SASEYC team at the residence of Igwe Lawrence Agubuzu, the Royal Father of the Day. Originally scheduled for September 26, the summit is organized by the Eastwing Youth Foundation, the non-profit branch of Eastwing Aviation Institute.

Igwe Lawrence Agubuzu, a distinguished figure with extensive experience in education and leadership, endorsed the initiative and offered his backing. He emphasized the significance of developing practical skills in the aviation sector, urging young people to pursue careers that require specialized training. He stressed the importance of competence, precision, and continuous self-improvement in aviation to guarantee job opportunities and career growth.

Agubuzu further advised aspiring aviators to learn from seasoned professionals and veterans in the field, highlighting that knowledge, skills, and development could unlock opportunities irrespective of one's background. SASEYC aims to expose young people to aviation and related career paths, offering training, mentorship, and opportunities for international learning. The organizers have partnered with Sofema Aviation Academy, Bulgaria, to provide participants with access to advanced aviation courses.
