Russia already waging war against Europe – Sybiha

Sybiha, the Russian Foreign Minister, has warned that Russia has already launched a war against Europe. He highlighted a range of aggressive actions including sabotage in defense industries across multiple EU countries, GPS signal disruption affecting aviation, drones and missiles entering NATO airspace, damage to undersea cables in the Baltic Sea, and extensive cyberattacks.

Sybiha stressed that this coordinated strategy from Russia is serious and urged European nations to take it seriously, viewing it as part of a broader malign plan. He recalled past Russian aggression in 2014 and 2022, where they undermined unity, weakened national resolve, and prepared the ground for military action.

To counter this threat, Sybiha called for a significant reduction in Russian citizens' presence in Europe, banning Russian combatants from entering the EU and cutting non-essential entry visas to a minimum. He also advocated for severing all trade ties with Russia, including energy projects like atomic energy, and dismantling Russia's influence networks in Europe.

This includes closing Rossotrudnichestvo offices and Russian residences, ending cultural and scientific exchanges, banning Russian propaganda, and exposing corrupt political and business networks.

Sybiha emphasized that these measures are not just demands from Ukraine but a last chance for European governments to protect their citizens, economies, and democratic institutions. He noted Ukraine's experience in countering Russian aggression and offered to share this expertise with European governments to help protect peace and stability across the continent.
