Royal nostalgia at Miss World 2026: Nikita Porwal wears gown inspired by Princess Diana’s sapphire ring

As the 75th Anniversary edition of Miss World 2026 approaches its final event, India's representative Nikita Porwal has incorporated a touch of royal nostalgia into her attire. The pageant, which has been taking place in Vietnam since August 9, culminates on September 5 in Nha Trang at 5:30 pm IST. A standout moment in Porwal's fashion journey is a gown designed by Saisha Shinde, inspired by Princess Diana's iconic engagement ring.

The gown, part of her Miss World wardrobe, draws on the distinctive blue sapphire and diamond design crafted by Garrard. Princess Diana's ring, alongside her legacy, has become synonymous with elegance. Porwal, a performer, model, and theatre practitioner from Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, has also championed causes through her Beauty With a Purpose initiative. The Miss India World 2026 winner will be revealed in Nha Trang on September 5.
