‘Reimagining Keralam’ workshop at IIM-Kozhikode concludes

The two-day 'Reimagining Keralam' workshop at the Indian Institute of Management in Kozhikode completed on Saturday. The event gathered Keralam Council of Ministers to discuss various initiatives aimed at economic growth, fiscal stability, health and well-being, climate resilience, entrepreneurship, skill development, higher education, and elevating Keralam's global standing.

Deepa Sethi and Priya Nair Rajeev presented on the 'Silver Economy,' while Mridul Kumar Saggar and Vipin V. Veetil addressed the economic sector. Ashutosh Sarkar and Nycil George contributed to the 'Skill Development' session, and S. Sreejesh, M. Devaprasad, Ankur Jain, and Silpa Satheesh shared their perspectives during the 'Generation Change and Elevating Keralam as a Global Brand' session.

IIM-K Director Debashis Chatterjee and Anadakuttan B. Unnithan discussed the 'Generation Change and Elevating Keralam as a Global Brand' topic.

The gathering included a photo session at the scenic Arjuna Path, featuring the legendary warrior from the Mahabharata, and an Ashoka tree sapling planting by Chief Minister V.D. Satheesan. The ministers also visited the traditional 'Gurukulam' classroom. The valedictory ceremony saw the Chief Minister and other ministers receive their certificates from Mr. Chatterjee.

The event resulted in ideas for new initiatives in various areas, all while preserving the State's human-centric development model. The gathering also served as a platform for dialogue to strengthen the administrative system, making it more effective, people-centric, and future-ready.
