Pas will not surrender potential winning seats, says Sanusi

Kota Bharu: Pas will not cede seats they view as winnable to any other party for the 16th General Election (GE16), according to Pas central election director Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor. The party's central and state election machinery will identify these seats deemed viable. Sanusi emphasized that giving away seats they can win while relinquishing those where they are likely to lose is perceived as both naive and foolish.

During his concluding remarks at the 70th Pas Annual Muktamar, Sanusi cautioned Pas leaders against exhibiting humility to other parties, asserting that the party should not adopt a submissive stance towards those who display none. He criticized the recent formation of a new party two days ago, which sought to teach Pas lessons, and rebuked Pas for capitulating to such developments.

Sanusi urged the party's workforce to bolster its capacity to contend in the upcoming GE16, which is less than 300 days away.
