Nigerian-British businessman dies after penis enlargement procedure in Thailand

Igho Ubiribo, a 43-year-old Nigerian-British businessman and social media influencer, passed away after receiving a penis enlargement procedure in Thailand. According to the Daily Mail, a UK coroner concluded that the cosmetic surgery led to a fatal pulmonary embolism. Ubiribo, also known as "Tiny", "Denisi", and "Ego", was on a luxury holiday in Bangkok with his wife Danielle Simba Allen when he opted for the procedure.

In March, 40 millilitres of hyaluronic acid and lidocaine were injected into his penis at an undisclosed clinic in Thailand. Following the treatment, Ubiribo and his wife went for a massage at their Marriott hotel. He complained of chest pain during the massage and passed out twice. He was taken to Sukhumvit Hospital, where doctors suspected a pulmonary embolism but were unable to perform a CT scan due to his loss of consciousness.

Ubiribo died the following day after intensive care staff performed CPR for over 100 minutes. Postmortem examination in the UK revealed cellular material consistent with hyaluronic acid, the substance used in the penis filler, matching findings from a Thai autopsy. The coroner ruled that Ubiribo's death was caused by a pulmonary embolism stemming from the cosmetic procedure.

Ubiribo was known for his lavish lifestyle on social media with 185,000 Instagram followers and owned properties in Los Angeles and London. He was buried in London in a gold coffin, with the funeral reportedly costing over $600,000.
