Mahindra showcases Range Of Alternate Fuel Tractors & Technologies At Agrovision 2025, Nagpur

Mumbai, November 21, 2025 - At the Agrovision 2025 exhibition in Nagpur, Mahindra & Mahindra unveiled a suite of alternate fuel tractors and cutting-edge technologies. The event was attended by the Union Cabinet Ministers Shri. Nitin Gadkari and Shri. Shivraj Singh Chouhan.

Mahindra showcased three key innovations:

First, the CNG/CBG tractor, which is based on the popular Yuvo Tech+ platform. It can run on compressed natural gas, compressed biogas, or a blend of diesel and CNG.

Second, the Ethanol Flex Fuel Tractor Engine, designed to run on ethanol sourced from sugarcane, maize, plant stubble, and other farm waste.

Third, the Electric Tractor, built on Mahindra's lightweight tractor platform, the Mahindra OJA. This electric tractor promises reduced operating costs, improved torque delivery, and better efficiency. It also offers fast charging options.

Veejay Nakra, President of Mahindra's Farm Equipment Business, emphasized Mahindra's commitment to sustainable farming solutions. He stated, "Mahindra is dedicated to leading India's transition to alternate fuel technologies, positioning us at the forefront of sustainable farm mechanisation."

The company's presence at Agrovision 2025 is a testament to its ongoing efforts to promote sustainable farming practices and contribute to India's goal of achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2070.
