Hanuman Ansh box office day 29: Neem Karoli Baba film nears Rs 100 cr, earns 50x on investment

On day 29 of its release, the devotional drama Hanuman Ansh has collected Rs 10 crore, marking a 50-fold return on its initial investment. The Vishal Chaturvedi-directed film, based on Neem Karoli Baba, had a modest launch with only 355 shows, but has seen a surge in screenings, crossing the 5,000-show mark. Despite the competition from Pankaj Tripathi's Mirzapur and Yash's Toxic, Hanuman Ansh has surged in popularity, earning over 50 times its budget in just 29 days.

On its fourth week, the film experienced a significant jump in viewership, leading to its current gross of Rs 97.99 crore in India. On day 29, Hanuman Ansh drew 47% occupancy across 5,055 shows, setting the benchmark for the highest fifth-weekend collection among big-budget films.
