Disu returns to police station where he first served as DPO

Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Disu, has made a return visit to the police division in Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State, where he first served as a Divisional Police Officer (DPO). The Force Public Relations Officer, CSP Ani Iniedu, shared details of Disu's visit, which took place during a tour of the area. Disu expressed emotion at the experience, recalling it as his first police station where he honed his leadership skills.

He had been posted to Ago-Iwoye without prior experience as a DPO, marking his first opportunity to test his leadership abilities. During his visit, Disu inspected his former residence and office, relishing the opportunity to revisit familiar places and people around the station. He recalled a local elderly woman who sold items and kept goats that often wandered into the police station, and an elderly man, Baba Aladji, who had been a familiar figure.

Disu emphasized the importance of taking responsibilities seriously and leaving behind a legacy, urging everyone to strive for excellence in their respective workplaces.
