Aaron Rodgers looks ahead to fatherhood after retirement

Aaron Rodgers, the future Hall of Fame quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers, is preparing for an upcoming chapter in life after retiring from the NFL. In a recent interview, Rodgers expressed his excitement about fatherhood, as he will be stepping away from professional football after his 22nd season, including three years in college.

Rodgers and his wife, Brittani, are expecting their first child in the 2026-2027 NFL season. Rodgers stated that he will be mostly supporting his pregnant wife during this time, as he plans to limit his public appearances and statements. He credits his wife with helping him reconnect with his estranged family, and expressed joy at being an uncle to his brother's children.

Rodgers looks forward to the challenges of fatherhood, including sleepless nights, diaper changes, and crying babies. His interview with host Adam Schein will air on Tuesday, September 8. The Steelers quarterback's last season kicks off against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, September 13 at 1 p.m. ET.
