11 ditahan kes lelaki parah ditetak di Ipoh

Polic chief Alwi Zainal Abidin disclosed that 11 male detainees were arrested for their involvement in a serious incident in Ipoh. These suspects had prior records of drug-related offenses and violent crimes. The incident occurred around 10:30 am when a 26-year-old man was attacked by a group of five males in Taman Pengkalan Jaya.

The assailants drove two cars before chasing and assaulting the victim. According to the report, the victim attempted to flee by jumping into the Kinta River, sustaining severe injuries on his hands, legs, and back from a knife-wielding suspect. The victim was assisted by civilians and taken to the hospital for treatment. The investigation suggests that the attack was driven by revenge and dissatisfaction from the criminal group targeting the victim.

Police consider the incident serious and arrested 11 local men between the ages of 22 and 41, who have multiple prior records of drug offenses and violent crimes. All arrested individuals were taken into custody to assist the investigation under Section 326 of the Criminal Force Act due to causing severe injury with a weapon, as well as their involvement in a planned criminal group.
