Ukraine Could Grant Wartime Presidents Lifetime Protection Under New Bill
Ukrainian lawmakers have introduced a bill that would grant lifetime state protection to presidents who served during wartime and their families, except when the president was removed through impeachment. Former members of the supreme command staff and the National Security and Defense Council could receive protection for 10 years after leaving office.
