Tunku Mahkota Ismail's hat-trick powers Royal Johor into polo final

JOHOR BARU: Royal Johor secured their spot in the Johor Super Crown Polo Tournament final after defeating JCorp 9-5 in the semi-finals. Tunku Mahkota Ismail Sultan Ibrahim, the Regent of Johor, scored a hat-trick, while Pablo Polito Pieres added three goals, propelling Royal Johor to victory over JCorp. The match began energetically in the first chukka, with Juan Martin Nero scoring first, followed by Gasto Carozzo doubling Royal Johor's lead.

Gonzalo Gonzalito Pieres equalized for JCorp. Polito then scored twice for Royal Johor, while Marcos Cacu Araya and Gonzalito each scored for JCorp, giving the team a 5-3 lead at halftime. Tunku Mahkota Ismail added his first goal in the fourth chukka, and Polito scored twice in the fifth chukka. Tunku Mahkota Ismail completed his hat-trick with two more goals, including a 60-yard long-range shot, extending the score to 9-3.

JCorp made a late attempt to come back through Datuk Quzier Ambak, but Royal Johor held on to secure the 9-5 win. Royal Johor will face Temasek in the final on Sunday.
