Saudi man stabbed during attempted robbery in London's Mayfair

A Saudi man was stabbed during an attempted robbery in central London's Mayfair district on Thursday evening. The London Metropolitan Police arrived at the scene at 9:38 PM following reports of a stabbing in Berkeley Square, Mayfair.

A man in his forties sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment. He was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm, possessing an offensive weapon, and attempted robbery, while also requiring minor medical attention. No valuable items were stolen from the victim, who was reportedly targeted for his backpack containing a luxury watch.
