Nashik: CJP Backs Tribal Students’ Agitation, Demands Immediate Action On Pending Issues

In Nashik, the Chief Justice of Patiala High Court (CJP) has shown support for tribal students who are on an agitation demanding timely action on their long-pending issues. As reported, Dipke emphasized that the government and administration must take note of the grievances raised by tribal students and promptly address the problems they face.

The students have brought to light several challenges related to education and the execution of government programs. Despite the availability of welfare schemes for tribal students, there are reports of delays and shortcomings in their implementation, which are causing difficulties for the students.

After engaging with the protesting students, Dipke voiced his support for their movement, stating that "the demands of tribal students cannot be ignored." He reiterated that education is a fundamental right for every student and they must receive the necessary facilities and benefits from government schemes in a timely manner. Dipke urged the government to hold discussions with the students and take a positive decision as soon as possible.

The protesting students have warned that the agitation will escalate if no concrete action is taken. They have also called for an immediate meeting with student representatives to work on resolving the issues. The students have brought forth images of inadequate facilities such as open toilets, unhygienic drinking water, poor-quality food, and the hardships faced by students in tribal residential schools, questioning the government's administration.

Dipke declared his solidarity with the students, emphasizing that he stands with them not as a political figure but as an advocate for their cause.
