Mukesh Khanna says Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Animal image’ can impact Ramayana: ‘Bad for kids’

Actor Mukesh Khanna has expressed concerns about Ranbir Kapoor's casting as Lord Ram in the upcoming Ramayana film, suggesting that Ranbir's image following his role in the violent movie "Animal" could negatively impact how audiences perceive him as the titular character. During an interview with Free Press Journal, Mukesh stated that he hopes Ranbir does not bring the "bad image" from "Animal" to his portrayal of Lord Ram, as it could be harmful to children who watch the film.

The actor also questioned the excessive screen time given to Ravana, played by Yash, in the trailer, stating that an overly dominant Ravana in the film might harm the devotion and faith of the audience.
