Modular Medical secures contract with national U.S. pharmacy manager

San Diego - Modular Medical, Inc., a commercial-stage medical device company, recently secured a contract with a prominent U.S. pharmacy benefit manager for its innovative Pivot insulin delivery system, according to a press release. The agreement will make the Pivot tubeless patch pump, a wearable insulin delivery platform designed for people with diabetes requiring intensive insulin therapy, available through the national PBM.

Jeb Besser, Modular Medical's CEO, expressed that this contract represents a significant commercialization milestone for the company's groundbreaking product. The Pivot system is intended for continuous subcutaneous insulin infusion, providing both basal and bolus insulin delivery over a three-day wear period.
