Maura Higgins & Rob Rausch To Host U.S. Version Of ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here’ For Peacock

Rob Rausch and Maura Higgins, stars of the popular show "The Traitors," have been selected to co-host a new competition series called "Get Me Out of Here" on Peacock. Created by the producers behind "Love Island USA," this series is based on the international format of "I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!" Set to premiere in 2027, the show will feature celebrities teamed up with a non-celebrity friend or family member.

These duos will be dropped into a dense jungle, stripped of all luxuries, and challenged with a series of physical and psychological obstacles in an attempt to avoid elimination and win a grand prize of $100,000.

The official logline describes the series as a test of friendship in the jungle, where the celebrities are forced to rely on their partners and navigate the treacherous environment together. As their bonds are put to the test, the jungle will reveal which celebrities can adapt to life without the VIP treatment and which BFFs can handle being stuck in the jungle with their star partner.

Produced by ITV America, "Get Me Out of Here" is executive produced by David George, David Eilenberg, and Jordana Hochman, and is based on the international format created by Lifted Entertainment. Distributed by ITV Studios, the series joins Peacock's growing lineup of reality shows, which includes hits "The Traitors" and "Love Island USA."

Both shows have seen season-over-season ratings growth, and "Get Me Out of Here" is expected to leverage the celebrity casting that made "The Traitors" Season 2 a hit. Rob Rausch and Maura Higgins, who first gained fame on "Love Island," previously starred in "The Traitors" Season 4 and formed a strong bond that culminated in Rausch revealing he was a traitor in the finale.

In a surprising twist, Rausch bought Higgins a Birkin bag with his winnings after revealing the betrayal. Higgins will also take part in another reality show this fall, joining ABC's "Dancing With the Stars" alongside fellow "Traitors" alum Mark Ballas.
