Live updates on your lock screen, now on Android — and even better on iOS

Live notification updates are now available on Android devices for Yahoo Sports' fantasy football, marking Day 26 of the 29-day Fantasy series. This is the first time Android users have experienced continuously-updating live updates on their lock screen, similar to iOS Live Activities and Apple's Dynamic Island.

Previously, Android users had to set up live updates manually, but no longer. Once a game is scheduled, the live updates automatically begin via push notifications when notifications are enabled on the device.

iOS users are getting an upgrade as well. The Yahoo Sports app now features Live Activities that include the drive chart, allowing users to follow every play of a drive in real time without leaving the lock screen.

There's no need to manually set up these features, as they start on their own when there's a game to follow. As long as notifications are turned on, the live updates will begin automatically. This new feature is available for both Fantasy and Yahoo Sports apps on their respective platforms.
