Legos magical Back to Hogwarts event is live: Shoppers can score steep discounts and free gifts all weekend

The annual Back to Hogwarts event by Lego commenced this weekend, granting shoppers the chance to purchase discounted products and receive free gifts throughout the weekend. Although non-Muggles cannot ride the Hogwarts Express, Lego has prepared an array of exciting treats to commemorate the occasion for fans of the Wizarding World.

For Lego Insiders, the perks include generous offers like double points and reductions on chosen Wizarding World constructions. Among these, the Diagon Alley Wizarding Shops build is procured at a $30 discount for Insiders, though it is currently on backorder, resulting in a minor delay for delivery.

Apart from the reductions, there's also an exclusive and elaborate set called The Ministry of Magic Collectors Edition. This massive build, consisting of 3,491 pieces, is priced at $449.99 and is immediately available for purchase.

The highlight of this event, however, is the free gifts available with the purchase. There are three such gifts during the Back to Hogwarts celebration: Lego Ministry Munchies & The Daily Prophet Stands, Lego Dumbledore's Office with Harry Potter, and a Ministry of Magic Phone Booth Display Model. Each of these free builds can be claimed while the event is still ongoing, with the final opportunity arriving on September 6.

The Lego Ministry Munchies & The Daily Prophet Stands gift accompanies a minimum purchase of $130 worth of Harry Potter merchandise. This set comprises 152 pieces, featuring Ministry Munchies and The Daily Prophet stands, a Fountain of Magical Brethren, and two minifigures: Cornelius Fudge and a newspaper vendor.
