I held the Asus ProArt P14 next to my MacBook Pro 14 — and Apple should be genuinely terrified of Nvidia’s RTX Spark

After comparing the Asus ProArt P14 to the Apple MacBook Pro 14, it becomes apparent that Asus has taken inspiration from Apple's design, right down to nearly matching dimensions. The ProArt P14 boasts a sleek matte charcoal finish and is slightly heavier than the MacBook Pro, with a more balanced weight distribution. Both laptops cater to creators, offering full-size HDMI, USB-C, a headphone jack, and an SD card slot.

The ProArt P14 does have a legacy USB-A port, which is a convenient touch for those who prefer traditional ports. The ProArt P14 features a 14-inch 2.8K OLED display, while the MacBook Pro boasts a larger 14.2-inch Liquid Retina XDR Mini-LED screen. The OLED display excels in gaming and color-accurate video grading in indoor or studio settings, while the MacBook Pro's Mini-LED display might be better for outdoor use in bright environments.

The ProArt P14 offers deeper key travel and a more satisfying actuation, but the added mushiness might be a drawback for prolonged typing.
