We built an MCP server for 1500+ Tools for devs and their agents

ApyHub, co-founded by the author, has developed an MCP server that enables agents to access over 1,500 tools through a single connector. The server streamlines access to 400+ services, ranging from file conversion and OCR to data extraction, validation, geolocation, SEO, image processing, and AI capabilities. By bundling these tools, ApyHub allows agents to utilize a broad spectrum of functionalities with just a limited set of tools.

For example, a single agent can convert a Word document to PDF, extract text from a PDF or webpage, compress a video, generate a QR code, validate an EU VAT number, validate email DNS, convert currencies, parse a resume, and check SERP rankings. Moreover, these tasks can be chained together. For instance, an agent can convert a scanned invoice to text, extract relevant data, validate the VAT number, convert currencies, and generate a PDF.

Another use case involves extracting data from a webpage, assessing its readability, summarizing the content, and checking its search ranking.

To manage the vast number of tools, ApyHub implements curation. Agents can only access a curated selection of endpoints relevant to their specific tasks. For example, a document agent might only have 15-20 endpoints, while an enrichment agent would use a different, more specialized set. Additionally, ApyHub simplifies credential management by providing agents with a single scoped key instead of multiple API keys for various vendors.

This approach minimizes the risk of credentials appearing in logs, observability tools, and bug reports.
