Teacher Mohd Azroy Azhar stated that the students took the initiative to offer prayers voluntarily after observing the authorities and the families of the victims' ongoing search.

Out of the four teenagers initially missing, Muhammad Adib Hafiy Kamal and Mohamad Haiman Fitri Supian are still unaccounted for.
