EPL: ‘They look stronger now’ – Redknapp names favourites to win title

Jamie Redknapp, a Liverpool icon, has recently spoken about the Premier League title race and expressed his thoughts on Arsenal's prospects. The former footballer commented on Arsenal's attempt to sign Julian Alvarez during the summer transfer window, which they were unsuccessful in securing. Despite this setback, Redknapp remains optimistic about Arsenal's chances of winning the prestigious title.

Mikel Arteta's Arsenal had a strong start to their title defense, claiming victories against Coventry City and Aston Villa. Redknapp praised two key signings made by Arteta, Christos Tzolis and Bruno Guimaraes, stating that both players have shown immense potential. Tzolis, in particular, has impressed with his passing skills, often demonstrated in a game against Aston Villa.

Redknapp believes that although Arsenal is slightly short on the left-hand side, the team still boasts a robust squad that can secure the title. He also mentioned that defensively, Arsenal appears to be stronger now, especially considering the absence of William Saliba. However, Redknapp acknowledges that the Gunners might need to rely on non-regular players like Noni Madueke to cover the left-back position.
